Macarthur Region a Magnet for Business Tourism
|
Business tourism – conferences and meetings – is Australia’s highest growth tourism market. And now the Macarthur region is poised to gain a share of this lucrative market following an industry tour showcasing its attractions to a range of Professional Conference Organisers.
On 11 and 12 November, representatives from Sydney Wide Conferences toured the Macarthur region, and paid a visit to a number of our leading meeting and conference venues sampling a taste of what the area can offer. Participants on the tour included conference organisers from a number of major management companies such as Outstanding Results, Destination Pacific Australia, AICUM, AJB Publishing, as well as representatives from Greater Sydney Tourism, and various tour companies.

Best experiences in Sydney - More than just Hot Air
|
A group of 12 Conferences organisers saw a very different side of Sydney recently with a hot air balloon courtesy of Cloud 9 Balloons. Leaving on dawn from Old Government House, the group found a great take off point, helped inflate the balloon than climbed aboard for a peaceful and refreshing ride over Sydney. The ballon ride was followed by a sumptuous champagne breakfast in the historic rooms of Old Government House. More photos of this ideal incentive or conference activity can be seen in the Conference Showcase under the Inspirations menu.
